L&T MF Announces change in benchmark indices under its schemes
L&T Mutual Fund has announced change in the benchmark index under the following schemes, with effect from 01 December 2019.
35% mutual fund equity assets stayed invested for over 2 years: AMFI data
Despite the volatility in the equity market, investors prefer to stay put in the equity mutual fund schemes. Data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India data revealed that 35 percent of the mutual fund industry’s equity assets had stayed invested for more than two years.
Mutual fund AUM rises 7.4% to Rs 26.33 lakh crore in October
Mutual funds' asset base increased to Rs 26.33 lakh crore in October-end, a rise of 7.4 percent as compared with the preceding month, on the back of robust inflows in equity and liquid schemes.
B30 cities contribute 16% to total MF assets; 64% AUM parked in equity schemes
Beyond 30, or the next 30 locations beyond the top 30 cities, contributed nearly 16 percent to total mutual fund industry assets of Rs 26.14 lakh crore as of October-end. The balance was contributed by T30 cities, or to the top 30 geographical locations in India, according to data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).
